I agree with girly-paintsitblack - this is amazing. My interpretation was a little more bleaker than your own - I thought that the girl really had no face! I have read a number of accounts of true stories of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bomb survivors and know what happened there.
Anyway the important thing is that I like your work - it is very well done no mater which way one interprets it
